After posting my last update - off to the hospital we went! Ella's temp spiked to 39.1. They ran some more tests when we got in there and hooked her up to IV antibiotics. It appeared the infection was not responding to the oral antibiotics. It was until Sunday morning that her temp started to become constantly more normal. We finally got discharged Tuesday afternoon following her chemo. So glad to be out of that place - was really starting to feel like a cooped up chicken.
Well we are busily planning Ella's 2nd birthday party. Nothing over the top, just family and a couple of friends coming over for afternoon tea. I can't believe my baby is turning 2! Let hope her temp stays down so that we can still go ahead with the party this Saturday. Also praying for nice weather so we can party outside in our new backyard =)
